Position	Progress Developer
Location	Sheffield
Benefits	Salary up to £34,000 plus large company benefits
Description	Provide first class development services and support within a large organisation with a diverse applications mix.
Duties	Analyse user and system requirements. Develop, test and support applications. Coding in Progress Tools eg: V9, ABL or Webspeed. Adherence to quality standards. Some exposure to customers, after qualifying period. Be proactive in making suggestions for improvements.
Skills required	At least 3 years experience developing with Progress Tools. Progress Version 9, Openedge, and/or Webspeed skills required. Good knowledge of Client Server and Web development techniques. Strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle. Knowledge of SONIC would be advantageous. Ability to work on own initiative, as well as within a team.
